AEROSMITH – THE GREATEST GANG
Bad guys from the Aerosmith group with a disgusting reputation, scandalous behavior and passion for everything forbidden took off and sank to the bottom, and then scrambled out again. And for some reason the public always loves such “villains” more.
What is special and so attractive in them if they have been kept in the musical stream for more than 40 years. This American rock band regularly fell into scandalous chronicles of tabloids; its members were repeatedly arrested for unrest and drug use at concerts. But this only fueled interest in Aerosmith members.
More than alive
It’s hard even to say that this is the natural nature of the musicians or someone successfully planned a PR move. It has long been known that diligent guys do not become rockers, and even more so do not arouse interest in the audience. No wonder they say: if they don’t write about you, then you have already died. And these brawlers are more alive than all living, despite the rampant lifestyle. Only a few succeed in this. Many of their colleagues have long gone to another world because of the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, fatal illnesses, or suicides. Continue reading
HEAVY METAL PIONEERS – DEEP PURPLE
In the history of heavy music, there are very few groups that can be put on a par with Deep Purple – rock legends that painted the world in dark purple tones.
Their path was winding, like Ritchie Blackmore’s guitar busts and John Lord’s organ parts.
Each of the participants deserves a separate story, but it was precisely together that they became iconic rock figures.
On the carousel
The history of this glorious band goes back to 1966 when the drummer of one of the Liverpool bands Chris Curtis decided to create his own band Roundabout (“Carousel”). Fate brought him to John Lord, who was already known in narrow circles and was known as a great organist. By the way, it turned out that he had a wonderful guy in mind who simply performed miracles with a guitar. This musician turned out to be Richie Blackmore, who at that time played as part of the Three Musketeers group in Hamburg. He was immediately called from Germany and offered a place in the team. MODERN TALKING – GERMAN PHENOMENON
Modern Talking is a cult band. Its members have earned such fame, because their songs are recognizable by the first chords and are pulled to the dance floor. More than 100 million records sold say a lot. No one was more successful at Eurodisc than the guys at Modern Talking.
Could Thomas Anders have thought during the studio recording of the song “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul” that this composition will fundamentally change his whole life. It was their first song and instant hit in the biggest hits.
Sweet beginning
In the early 1980s, the Eurodisc style only appeared, and with it the composer Dieter Bohlen. At that time he worked in a music publishing house and almost everything that sounded in Germany was written by him. Dieter’s voice was not outstanding, but his composing abilities quickly helped him to his feet. Bolen realized that for complete success, he lacked English-language compositions and a singer whose voice could make real hits out of his songs. Continue reading
