“JESUS CHRIST – SUPERSTAR” – A MASTERPIECE BECOMING A LEGEND
Rock opera Jesus Christ – superstar “Jesus Christ – Superstar” – one of the most famous and greatest rock operas in the world, with a rather long history, which has become a masterpiece and legend in the world of music.
Rock opera became the first musical of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice on the professional stage. And perhaps no other rock opera has undergone so many changes.

The musical originally came out in the form of an album in 1970, where Ian Gillan, the vocalist of the so-called “golden line-up” Deep Purple, played the lead role. The “live” concert in July 1971 was so successful that it was decided to record and release a record, which was subsequently sold in millions of copies. Until now, the young composer Andrew Lloyd Webber almost immediately became a celebrity. On October 12, 1971, the premiere of the expanded stage version of the rock opera Jesus Christ the Superstar took place on Broadway. Young authors were shocked by the success of the production. “NOT DAM DE PARI” – THE CONQUERED WORLD MUSIC ABOUT LOVE
The musical Notre-Dame de Paris is, above all, a spectacle. And this is fifty songs about love, amazing voices, melodic music that combines French chanson and gypsy motifs. Notre Dame captures from the first second. From the first second until the curtain. Now it’s hard to find a person who wouldn’t hear about the musical or listen to the musical itself, if not all, then at least passages, possibly without even realizing that it was Notre Dame de Paris. It is safe to say that this musical is the most recognized and best known in the whole world. And the leading performers won worldwide acclaim.
The fame of the musical spread well before the premiere on September 16, 1998 in Paris. The official premiere was preceded by a CD with the songs of the musical, which made a splash, having won the heights of various charts in many countries. The most famous song of the musical “Belle” became an independent world hit and received several music awards. Of course, after such success of the released album, the premiere was waited impatiently, and not in vain. THE MOST RUSSIAN BALLET – “SWAN LAKE”
Most people consider the Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to be the most Russian ballet. ” It is Swan that is the symbol of Russian ballet.
Hundreds of beautiful ballerinas created images of Odette and Odile, and dozens of choreographers created their own versions of this immortal performance.
Now it’s not even possible to imagine, but the premiere of Swan Lake at the Bolshoi in 1877 was more than modest. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky never found out about the future triumphs of his ballet.
Ballet is not an art
In the mid-19th century, serious musicians looked down on ballet, considering it to be second-class art, a relative of melodrama and vaudeville. However, the professor of the conservatory, composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky – the famous author of operas, symphonies, instrumental music and romances – regularly attended ballet performances and even knew the technique of dance.
