“AGATHA CHRISTIE”
When the popularity of rock music in the country was at its peak, and everywhere the songs of the groups “Cinema”, “Aquarium”, “Time Machine”, “Nautilus Pompilius” and other equally popular were heard, loomed on the horizon, and then took its rightful place in this cohort of favorites is the Agatha Christie band. It was very easy to get lost in such a mass of rock bands. But the musicians from Agatha Christie managed not only to swim on this wave of rock movement, but also to remain on the crest for the whole decade, although many colleagues on the shop had gone down by that time. So, something in their work was so extraordinary that even now (even after the breakup of the group) it impresses thousands of music lovers.
Explosive mix of directions
Symphonic rock, classical rock and roll, post-punk, and art rock merged into the music of this group. In the 1990s, the band’s songs were thoroughly saturated with the ideas of decadence, and in the new century, “Agatha Christie” tried Agatha Christie’s electronic guitar sound and hurricane-expressive manner of performance. ABBA – A POP-PHENOMENON OF THE XX CENTURY
Agneta Feltskog, Bjorn Ulveus, Benny Andersson, Annie-Fried (Frida) Lingstad. What are these names talking about? Often about nothing. But if you add the first letters of the names, you get … ABBA. This abbreviation says a lot and a lot. Yes, 4 Scandinavians turned the whole world with their songs. And this is not an exaggeration.
ABBA were the first representatives of continental Europe to win first place on the charts of all the leading English-speaking countries.
Benny and Bjorn
Benny Andersson was a keyboard player for the popular Swedish pop group Hep Stars in the second half of the 1960s. They performed remakes of international hits. The band’s strength was their live performances with spectacular shows. Fans of the team, or rather fans, were mostly girls. With full right the group was called the Swedish The Beatles. “VIA GRA” – VARIABLE AS THE HEART OF BEAUTY
For more than a decade of the existence of the VIA Gra group, it has changed its composition, but has not changed its idea. And it was to create something fundamentally new.
One can argue, of course, whether the idea of putting together a female group of girls with fantastically sexy looks was such a new idea. In any case, the first appearance of VIA Gra did not go unnoticed, popularity grew every day, and now no one doubts the success of the idea. A group with such an idea was simply doomed to success: the male half of the audience can not help but admire the plasticity of perfect female bodies, but the female half has someone to look up to.
Trying number two or number five?
Dmitry Kostyuk, the producer of the collective, wanted to assemble a female group, whose members must have a stunning sexual appearance to demonstrate shocking performances and, as KVN-schiki like to joke, when these conditions are met, no one will pay attention to vocal data. After the first casting, three girls were selected. We recorded the first song and even started shooting the video. But the coordinated work of the team did not work and the composition was dissolved. But the idea did not leave the producers. Continue reading
