THE MOST RUSSIAN BALLET – “SWAN LAKE”
Most people consider the Swan Lake by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky to be the most Russian ballet. ” It is Swan that is the symbol of Russian ballet.
Hundreds of beautiful ballerinas created images of Odette and Odile, and dozens of choreographers created their own versions of this immortal performance.
Now it’s not even possible to imagine, but the premiere of Swan Lake at the Bolshoi in 1877 was more than modest. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky never found out about the future triumphs of his ballet.
Ballet is not an art
In the mid-19th century, serious musicians looked down on ballet, considering it to be second-class art, a relative of melodrama and vaudeville. However, the professor of the conservatory, composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky – the famous author of operas, symphonies, instrumental music and romances – regularly attended ballet performances and even knew the technique of dance. OPERA “AIDA” – INTERNATIONAL TRIUMPH GIUSEPPE VERDI
The opera Aida was written more than 140 years ago. Its premiere took place on December 24, 1871 in Cairo with a huge triumph, and still the work does not leave the stage of domestic and foreign theaters.
The story of the opera is quite interesting. By the opening of the Suez Canal, they wanted to build a Cairo theater in 1869. The government of Egypt a year earlier asked Giuseppe Verdi to write an opera on an Egyptian theme. But the composer agreed to take up the composition of Aida only in 1870. A short script was drawn up by the French Egyptologist Mariette, who lived in Cairo.
The opera Aida is a psychological musical drama in which the situation is subordinated to a high moral idea. Verdi with all his work affirmed the right of people to happiness. And as a humanist composer, he fought for justice. He demonstrated in the opera Aida the great power of love that even death cannot overcome. Continue reading
“AGATHA CHRISTIE”
When the popularity of rock music in the country was at its peak, and everywhere the songs of the groups “Cinema”, “Aquarium”, “Time Machine”, “Nautilus Pompilius” and other equally popular were heard, loomed on the horizon, and then took its rightful place in this cohort of favorites is the Agatha Christie band. It was very easy to get lost in such a mass of rock bands. But the musicians from Agatha Christie managed not only to swim on this wave of rock movement, but also to remain on the crest for the whole decade, although many colleagues on the shop had gone down by that time. So, something in their work was so extraordinary that even now (even after the breakup of the group) it impresses thousands of music lovers.
Explosive mix of directions
Symphonic rock, classical rock and roll, post-punk, and art rock merged into the music of this group. In the 1990s, the band’s songs were thoroughly saturated with the ideas of decadence, and in the new century, “Agatha Christie” tried Agatha Christie’s electronic guitar sound and hurricane-expressive manner of performance.
